PDF Pattern Leather Acorn Bag
The PDF contains a 9 page pattern to make your own acorn bag.
The bag itself is about 8.5 in tall without the stem. The button stud closure can be tricky to close the first time since you're pressing into a round shape to close the bag. Ensure that you use stiff leather for the bottom of the acorn. The weave top can be a bit tricky to follow so please pay attention to the assembly video.

PDF is intended for A4/8.5" by 11" paper print to actual size (100%). Every stitch has a 1/8 seam allowance with the stitching holes provided. Most of the stitching holes are spaced 4mm apart. If you are unsure please watch build along video before purchasing. Instructions are also provided in the build along video.
Materials needed for this project:
- 5-6 oz stiff leather preferably veg tan for Panel pieces, Connectors, Inner Trim and Tab pieces
- 3-4 oz stiff leather for the Cap pieces
- 1 oz thin soft leather for the Cap Trim
- 2 oz or less soft thin leather for the Stem Braid
- 0.8mm thread
- Sam Browne/button stud 5mm head 2
- .75in D-ring 2
- .75in buckle
- .75in swivel hook 2
- Size 34 rivets 8mm post, 9mm cap 12
- Size 36 rivet post 10mm, size 34 cap 9mm 2
