PDF Pattern Leather Book Purse
The PDF contains a 12 page pattern to make your own book purse. The stitching on this project is almost made up of saddle stitching. If there's an area that you did not understand in the build along video, please contact me.
The bag has a optional, removable small book compartment that is held on by a snap strap. Although the pictures show the use of magnets as closures, they are optional. The buckle strap works fine on it's own. The overall size of the bag is 10.25" in length, 3.75" in width (not including the small book) and 7.5" in height.

Materials needed for this project:
- 5-6 oz leather
(preferably stiffer for the covers
and straps, regular for the gusset/pages)
- 3 oz or less soft leather for the sides
- 0.8mm thread
- 9mm cap rivet 3
- 1 inch buckle
- 1/4 inch eyelet
- 1 inch rectangle d rings 2
- .75 inch magnetic closures 2 (optional)
- 12.5mm snap
