PDF Pattern Leather Pinecone Bag
The PDF contains a 9 page pattern to make your own pinecone bag.
The bag itself is about 8.5 in tall without the stem. This is a pretty straightforward build and doesn't involve anything too complicated. The only tricky parts to look out for are gluing the magnetic snaps in leather, and doing the leather braid. Unlike my other patterns, this design requires pre-assembly before cutting out he pieces. This pattern does not include straps.
This listing is for the digital pattern only and does not contain the physical product.
This purchase includes files for US letter and A4 printing format, print to actual size (100%). Every stitch has a 1/8 seam allowance with the stitching holes provided. Most of the stitching holes are spaced 4mm apart. If you are unsure please watch build along video before purchasing. Instructions are also provided in the build along video, as there are no written instructions.
Materials needed for this project:
- 5-6 oz stiff leather for layered pieces and Tab pieces
- 1-2 oz thin leather for magnetic closure
- 2 oz or less soft thin leather for the Stem Braid
- 18mm magnetic closure
- 0.8mm thread
- .75in D-ring 2
- Size 34 rivets 8mm post, 9mm cap 5
- chain strap/leather bag strap
If there is a problem or instructions are unclear please message me, so I can assist you. It would be great to hear some feedback so I can continue to improve the patterns.
